About

With panoramic views of the Olympic Park the View Tube has become hugely successful since it first opened in the summer of 2009.

With a single storey exhibition space combined with a two storey café, viewing platform and education space this public space has become known for more than its views.

Situated on the Greenway, it was important that the space be sustainable both in construction and operation so it has a host of environmental features including a 100% recycled structure, weather compensation heating and solar controlled glass.

Although the View Tube is temporarily closed , it is due to reopen in early December 2012 where it will be open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
